Klaas, a Minnesota native, is a weekly columnist for The Washington Post, a professor at University College London, and the host of the popular podcast, “Power Corrupts.” He’s a frequent expert guest on international news outlets, including CNN, BBC, NPR, and Bloomberg, and wrote the book on election rigging (literally), so expect an insightful conversation when he joins MinnPost editor Andrew Putz for the event.

  1. I wonder what Mr Klass would say about the power of his employer, Mr Bezos? Or Mr Bloomberg? Or of any of those mega media outlets, to define the narrative?

    Looking at his podcast page, it would seem that power only corrupts the bad people. Good thing most of the people leading America and Europe are good.
